Camila was the first one to share the news on her social media.

Along with a video of her and Matthew delivering boxes of materials, she wrote: “Our mission is to protect those who protect us, by providing healthcare workers, firefighters, police officers, and others with approximately 80,000 masks needed to battle the #COVID19 virus.

“Matthew and I, our friends Bill and Tracey Marshall have teamed up with the organization #BStrong.

“We are passionate about helping first responders from our hometown Austin – Texas, Louisiana and nationwide as we combat this national pandemic.”

Bethenny also shared the news on her own social media channels with pictures of Matthew and Camila – who made sure to practice social distancing while visiting the stations – delivering to a police station.

She wrote: “#BStrong is so grateful to Camila and Matthew for getting involved in this fight and donating funds for 80,000 protective masks to be distributed to the warriors on the front lines of this pandemic who are risking their lives to save ours.
“Louisiana and Texas are in their hearts and prayers as they show support for those police officers, fire fighters and healthcare workers who so desperately need this aid.”

The Austin Fire Department also thanked the Hollywood couple on Twitter and wrote: “The C-shift at Station 32 got a surprise yesterday, when Matthew and Camila stopped by to let us know we’re getting several 1,000 N-95 masks soon, part of their donation of 80K to healthcare workers, FFs, and police officers in #ATX and #NOLA!”

The ex-housewife has been stepping up and doing everything in her power to help first responders during the coronavirus pandemic.

She explained in an interview: “I’m putting my money where my mouth is because my money’s already going to the masks and the hand sanitizer right now.

“That’s where [I’m at], I’ve got to write these checks because, as the former director of FEMA said, we can’t wait to get the money. We have to pay for these things and figure it out later, so I’m paying for these things and figuring it out later.”

Earlier this month, Bethenny also revealed B. Strong would be producing and dispersing “corona kits” filled with medical supplies, which include a face mask, hand sanitizer and wipes.

Matthew and his wife aren’t the only celebs joining forces with BStrong.

Billy Joel – through The Joel Foundation – made a “series of donations to relieve aid efforts,” along with Amy Schumer who donated more than 20,000 N95 masks, among other necessities, to health care facilities.

Ellen DeGeneres also joined in her efforts and will be covering medical costs to those affected.
