AS a child actor and star MTV presenter in the 90s, it was her familiar Geordie accent that made her a favourite with viewers.
But unlike her former Byker Grove co-stars ANT and DEC, DONNA AIR has shocked everyone by talking posh.

While on Celebrity MasterChef this week she spoke with a refined accent that suggested she has had elocution lessons.
I exclusively revealed how Donna had split from the DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE’s brother JAMES MIDDLETON after a two-and-a-half year romance in October.
But the pair reportedly rekindled their romance last week and being close to the Middleton family has obviously rubbed off on her, as she even shared the style of Kate and PIPPA MIDDLETON while on the cookery show.
Donna wore a chic stripy T-shirt and served a “trio of dishes” and edible flowers.

An insider said: “Donna has dropped her Geordie accent and it does shock people as they’re not expecting it.
“I don’t know why she has done it.
“It can’t be from living in London.

But she was still voted through to the next round because SINITTA was booted out after dangerously serving up two raw meat dishes.

Don’t expect Donna to serve up a Stottie cake though.
Matt May be back
MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY and WOODY HARRELSON had viewers on the edge of their seats when they starred in the first season of True Detective.
So it was no surprise the second series was so poorly received after the pair bowed out due to new storylines.
But I was excited to discover Matthew is keen to reprise his role as murder detective Rustin Cohle in the HBO series.
He said: “I would return.
“It’d have to be in the right context and the right way.
“It’d need that spark like when I first read the scripts.

“When I read it, I knew after 20 minutes that I could play this guy and that I’m in.”
Matthew also admitted he missed watching his character on the show and that he was “happy” during filming alongside MICHELLE MONAGHAN and MICHAEL POTTS.
He added: “I miss Cohle and I miss watching him on Sunday nights.
“I was a happy man when we made that show because for six months I was on my own island.”
Sounds like the perfect job.
Ferne on the road
THE revamped Top Gear has been a ratings flop – and now Towie’s FERNE McCANN thinks she can do better.
She believes her new ITV travel show, where she drives across Italy with I’m A Celeb pal VICKY PATTISON, pictured together above, will be much funnier than CHRIS EVANS’ BBC motoring programme.

Ferne, who is also showbiz reporter on ITV’s This Morning, said: “Vicky can’t drive, she’s never been behind the wheel.
“But saying that, I have got a bus licence.
“I don’t know too much about cars but I think our show will be a funnier, female version of Top Gear.
“We’re travelling along the Amalfi coast.
“We’re going to do pizza-making.
“It’s going to be great fun.”

Ferne also told how she is going to invite RUSSELL BRAND to review her book – in which she revealed their fling – after discovering he has set up an online book club.
She added: “It would be great if he could do a review of my book Cross My Heart.
“I’ve been really nice about him.
“I’ve said it how it is, so who knows?”
Ferne is also taking on two events in this year’s Great Swim – Europe’s biggest open water swim series.
